  • I'm late I'll never join the hunting party in time!
  • Nurdoo, nurbber me derreen derreenbah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.Garmbay booan yunnahdeh beahwah ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.Gubbondee, dee, ee, ee, ee.Neah nein gulbeejah, ah, ah, ah, ah.
  • We must have found the same emu nest. There is more than enough to share.
  • Deegeenboyah regularly hunts with the Mulyan tribe but today he is late and will not make it in time so he devises a plan in order to get enough food to feed his family.
  • Allow me to carry the emus for you
  • "EMU"
  • The Mulyan tribe has returned, singing a song that symbolizes they found the first emu nest of the season. Deegeenboyah hides nearby waiting for the perfect opportunity to set his plan in motion.
  • I've got to get this to my family
  • Deegeenboyah talks to the leader of the tribe and lies telling him that he found the same emu nest but arrived later because he is older and cannot travel as fast as the younger men. He then convinces the Leader that they can split the food from the emu nest.
  • That's what you get for stealing our food!
  • Deegeenboyah offers to carry the emus for the rest of the tribe so they can go ahead they oblige and deegeenboyah slows down allowing them to get ahead before he leaves the trail to go to his home with all of the food.
  • Deegeenboyah slips into a trapdoor which goes through a cave. He knows there is another exit up ahead that is close to his home as this is the way he often comes back from hunting.
  • He comes home only to find that his daughters and wives have been killed and the leader of the mulyan tribe is there waiting for him. he begs for forgiveness saying he only stole because of his family and he would no longer as they are dead. The leader of the mulyan tribe shows no mercy and kills deegeenboyah and takes the emus back to his camp being hailed as a genius by his fellow tribesmen.
