- Right now there is no immunization for Lyme disease. So really it is impossible to prevent, witch makes people weary.
- If your going to a place with many bugs and ticks you should watch for ticks and remove them immediately, and make sure to get tested for Lyme.
- There is really no restrictions on getting tested for it, but if you have it you should make sure you are nit carrying the tick still.
- Lyme disease can effect food supply because it is carried by ticks witch live anywhere. On the animals you butcher and eat I may be on them. Although I don't cause a significant effect on the food supply itself.
