A crime this far out in the woods cannot be caused from an accident. Someone is trying to hide something. Lets take the body of the victim to the lab.
As a forensic toxicologist, I can tell that the victim ingested a lot of alcohol soon before their death. This was most likely by the influence of her killer. Alcohol is present in her liver. I suspect she trusted her killer as she was drinking with them, maybe even her husband.
Your honor, by the presence of alcohol in the victim's system, our forensics team believes that the husband is to blame. Along with other evidence we obtained, the victim had ingested much alcohol that evening and stated to friends, before her death, that she was only ok drinking with her husband.
From the evidence at hand, I find the husband guilty of first degree murder. He must have planned to make an attack by making his wife this intoxicated.
