An Asia Minor pegan merchant adored his daughter so much that he locked her in a tower. It is not mentioned how hair became important. During her stay at the tower she converted to Christianity while the merchant was out and was praying so loudly that the merchant was informed by the Roman pro-consul to execute her for her newfound religion.
