Hello my name is Maddy and yes i'm currently doing a zoology project that requires me to study three different types of asexual animals. I have to find out what being asexual reproductive is like and how some animals asexual reproductive.
Hi my name is sting. I over heard you were studying about Asexual animals and i was wondering if you need help understanding.
Little do people know Jellyfish are actually asexual reproductive, we have many stages as we develop. The three stages we go through to be an adult are called medusa, planula and polyp stages. The Polyp stage we can last several months in it, this is the stage where we asexual reproduces. We jellyfish clone ourselfs which leads us to other stages to form into an adult jellyfish.
Wouldn't that make you sexual reproductive because you only cone yourself once which is in the last stage you go through???
well Maddy, us jellyfish don't stay small forever we grow . What is so good about being sexual productive ?????
Well being sexual reproductive, our genetics from two individuals combined to produce an offspring. If some traits are similar then the child might have the same features. We produce large amounts of offsprings
Yes, but it depends in pass history if there are health problems. A disadvantage for asexual is you can be prone to be extinct .
Sometimes genetics can go bad, and something can go bad.
we can both agree that we have some pros and cons of being sexually. reproductive or asexual reproductive.
Yes we all have reasons to be different.
