  •  The first thing that they both had consequences for their curiosity. In the story "The Monkey's Paw" the family is curious about making there wishes with the paw and it ends up making their awful. In "Pandora's Box" Pandora opens the box and releases all of the bad things in the world.

  • The second thing is that they both got objects that caused them to become curious. In the story The Monkey's Paw a soldier brings them a paw that can grant them three wishes which makes them very curious. In the story Pandora's box the Gods give Pandora and Epimetheus a box that can not be opened.

  •  In both "Pandora's Box" and "The Monkey's Paw" curiosity ruled. But in "Pandora's Box" Pandora hid the box under her bed to try to stop her curiosity. On the other hand, in "The Monkey Paw" the characters just left the paw out in the open. 
  • In "Pandora's Box" the ending was positive and in "The Monkey's Paw" it had a negative ending. In "Pandora's Box" hope flew out of the box and In "The Monkey's Paw the Mom ending up heart broken.
