  • Thou take this vial and this liquor drink, no pulse, no breathe shall testify thou livest, two to forty hours.
  • Friar Laurence gave her a sleeping potion to make her appear dead for forty-two hours, So she couldn't marry Paris. The Friar would tell Romeo the plan and he would arrive as she was waking up. They could then escape then together.

  • Juliet agreed to the marriage and she took the drug that Friar gave her and pretended to be dead.
  • Romeo, Romeo I will drink this poison and wait for me...
  • The next day, the family thought she was dead and they tok her to the family tomb, in which according to Friar's plan, Romeo was going to rescue her
  • Oh, woeful day! Oh, Woe is me!
  • But Romeo never received the Friar's letter. Thinking that Juliet had died. he bought poison and went to the tomb. He saw beautiful. lifeless Juliet. He kissed her and drank the poison.
  • Here's to my love. True apothecary, those drugs are fast. Thus with a kiss I die.
  • Juliet woke up to see Romeo beside her dead. She wept and kissed him, hoping the poison would kill her too. Finally she took her dagger and stabbed herself.
  • A cup in my true love's hand? Poison, I see, I will kiss thus lips, some poison doth hang on them to make me die. Oh, happy dagger let me die...
  • The families of the Montagues and the Capulets arrived to the tragic scene and they were overwhelmed with grief and horrified at the pain that they had caused. Thus they buried their feud, along with their precious children, Romeo and Juliet.
