Glennithia was on his way to the competition between Apollo and Pan when he noticed something strange. He saw something he had never seen before and didn't know what to do.
Glennithia gazed at the thing in astonishment. Suddenly, he approached it, grabbed it and hid it in a bag. He had successfully captured the creature and ,instead of going to the competition, took it home with him.
When Glennothia successfully (and secretly) arrived back at his house, he got on his hands and knees and got to work straight away. He got all of the supplies together that he needed to create a cage for the ''thing''. He kept the bag in his sight at all times.
Artemis is the Goddess of forest animals and hunting. One day she was sitting in her room in the God's Mountain (Mount Olympus). Artemis had a strange feeling that day. She could sense one of her animals in deep distress and calling out to her. She tracked the animal down and travelled there immediately.
Artemis came to Glennithia's house to find one of her beloved monkey's stuck in a daunting cage with screws poking out from every side harming the poor monkey. Artemis was not very happy. She punished Glennithia with the tail and voice of a monkey, and the smell of a skunk.
You will be punished for this!!
Artemis selected 32 animals ,all of different species, to come back to Mount Olympus (including the monkey) so that they can be safe and never have to be seen by humans again. With the God's the animals would definitely be safe and no human will ever discover them again. They will be away from all of the torture and mayhem humans cause. This is why not all species of animals are discovered by humans.
