Steve Irwin owned a wildlife sanctuary with his wife Terri. This sanctuary was called the Australia Zoo, and they had many animals there which Steve, Terri, and their employees tended to, but the animal Steve was most famous for his work with was the crocodile. He even had at TV programme!
Unfortunately, Steve passed away in 2006 when he was stabbed in the heart by a stingray while he was filming a series called Ocean's Deadliest. His wife Terri and his two kids, Bindi and Robert all continue to work at the Australia Zoo and continue his legacy.
Steve Irwin 1962-2006
President of the USA Barack Obama had heard all the fuss about the Irwins and the Australia Zoo and wanted to see what it was about, so he decided to go to Australia to have a look. But he had something else on his mind too...
Just as he got on the plane and was about to put his phone on aeroplane mode, Barack got a call from Terri Irwin to let him know that they had sorted out a cab to pick him up from the airport. He said thanks then put his phone on aeroplane mode for the flight.
When Barack Obama arrived at the Australia Zoo, Terri, Bindi, and Bob showed him around themselves. They introduced him to all the animals, including the world famous crocodiles.
Hi I'm Barack Obama it's nice to meet you
After showing him around the zoo, they took Barack to see Steve Irwin's grave. He payed his respects, but inside his head he was thinking something else...
Dang it you're more likely to survive the zombie apocalypse than me
