This is a ( hopefully ) replica of the Indus river ( or at least the beast we could find on storyboard) ... The river is at least 2,500 years old to 8,000 years old. Mind. Blown. The Indus river was the central spot for the Indus River valley civilization ( wow, who would have thought?) due to it bringing fertile soil.
The Hindu society worshipped many deities and Gods. Some examples of what these Gods or Deities are, are: The creator, preserver, and the destroyer. All of which are the same God named Brahman. But they were seperated into 3 different forms depending on the function. the 3 forms can also be referred to as the holy trinity. Brahman the creator has four heads facing four directions ( North, south, east, west ) Vishnu the preserver maintains law and order in the universe, and Shiva the destroyer, despite his terrifying looks he is a benevlonent god. According to legend the Ganges river flowed only in heaven until it was brought down to earth to purify our world, it came cascading down to earth and would have shattered our planet had not Shiva broken its fall by allowing it to drop on his head
They worked to advance the standard wooden ship, and succeeded.. No longer did they need to send down armies or actual people to trade, they could now build a good boat to travel down waters and trade, cutting the time that is needed to go to the other civilization to trade in half or even 3 quarters! thats
Ancient Indian politics were very different from our world today, women were seen as less than men in their society. Also in the more early times villages were all combined and ruled by wealthy people called Kajas, which protected the villages and were basically kings
Farming and Agriculture were the main focus in ancient Indian society, their most common and best crop was wheat. They also used livestock like cows for milks. And back then you were paid to help the king unlike other civilizations
In India, their Gods were even more important than their kings or rulers. The social pyramid goes more like this compared to your standard social classes Brahman caste:PriestsKshatriyas caste: Kings/rulers, warriors Vaisyas caste: Merchants, craftsmen, skilled workers, landowners, Sudra caste: Farmers, unskilled workers, and servants
