In 1578, Kepler enrolled in latin school in Leonberg, Germany. Since he was able to read and write in latin, the reading of aristotle and ancient greek/latin texts became easier for him, benefiting him later in life (Westman).
Kepler was known for being a German Lutheran astrologer, mathematician, and astronomer. In 1593, at the age of 23, he left University to became a teacher in astronomy and math in a Protestant School in Graz, Austria (Westman).
Johannes Kepler was born in December 27, 1571, on Weil der Stadt, Germany. He and his family were part in the Holy Roman Empire of Germany (Gould).
