Storyboard Text

  • I'm sorry! I just wanted to know what you looked like!
  • Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess, but she was so beautiful no one would marry her. The king asked the Delphic Oracle advice and did as he said leaving his daughter Psyche on the cliff to meet the terrible winged serpent that was to be her husband. Soon, a man swooped down from the heavens, but he was not the ferocious beast all the villagers said he was, he was kind. He took her to his palace up in the clouds.
  •  They soon fell in love, but she could never see him. How could she love someone she couldn't see?
  • One night, she crept into her room to secretly discover what he looked like, but he woke up. He was angry. It was then he realised that Humans and Gods could never love. So he flew away.
  • The next morning  she went after him. But on the way, she was stopped by Aphrodite the God of love and beauty. She told her she would have to complete four tasks to earn Eros's heart back. She would have to sort out a pile of seeds, collects a sheep's golden fleece, fill a flask with black water and return form the underworld with a box of beauty.
  • She did so and goes on to bring the box to Eros. She decides to lift the lid to discover what is inside, but instead of a love potion, it is a sleeping potion. AS soon as she sniffs it, she falls down, appering to be dead. Eros, swoops down from the clouds and scoops her up, realising how foolish he had been to leave her.
  • Eros gives her a potion to make her imortal. She wakes up the next morning to see Eros sitting beside her, watching her as she sleeps.
