No, that is not a good idea, I don't want you to go to jail!
Maybe me and Ponyboy should turn ourselves in.
We could possibly get into less trouble with the police.
Johnny, I'm not mad at you. I just don't want you to be like me.
He's probably mad at me.
Can you help me save the kids?
We need to go help them Johnny.
Johnny suggested the idea of turning himself and Ponyboy into the police. He thinks that if he turned himself in at that moment, he could get into less trouble. Dally doesn't like this idea and he raises his voice at Johnny leaving him upset, which ant the moment, he didn't realize he was.
HELP US PLEASE! WE ARE TRAPPED IN HERE!
Dally is driving and he notices that Johnny was a little upset from what he said. Dally apologizes and says that he doesn't want Johnny to turn out like him. From this Johnny felt a little bit better.
Whe-wheres Dally and Johnny?
The are okay. We think Johnny may have broke his back.
Ummm, they are just fine. You are gonna be okay too.
Some students are having a picnic at the church. When Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny drive by the church, and they see that is is on fire. Ponyboy and Johnny realize that they have started the fire, so they have to do something, and that is to save the kids that are trapped in the church. They start to run gallantly into the burning church.
I don't mean to be tough on you but I don't want to lose you.
Ponyboy, I'm so glad that you are alive.
Crying and panicking, the children are scared in a corner. They were trapped and one by one, Ponyboy and Johnny hastily save the kids. As they were doing so, pieces of the church started falling on them.
Ponyboy is being transported to the hospital. He has got a few little burns. He finds out that Dally and Johnny are also going to the hospital and that also Johnny may have a broken back.
Ponyboy is reunited with the rest of the gang. Darry is grateful that Ponyboy is still alive and he did not die in the fire. They both share a hug and forgive each other for all of their struggles.
