Establishing National Parks
I have now made another national park. They are so beautiful and peaceful.
There is such beauty here!
I shall make it a national park.
I know, I hope it is safe and out of harms way.
From 1901 to 1909 Theodore Roosevelt established five national parks.
Theodore established a national park called Crater Lake. Crater Lake used to be a volcano now it is what we call a "sleeping volcano".
Sully Hills was also one of the five parks Roosevelt established. Sully Hills is located in North Dakota.
The Wind Cave is located in South Dakota . The wind cave was established in 1904.
Whoa, this looks mythical!
Mesa Verde is located in Colorado. It was established in 1906 also by Theodore Roosevelt.
Chickasaw national park used to be called Platte. Chickasaw is the fifth national park established by Theodore Roosevelt.
