  • Establishing National Parks
  • I have now made another national park. They are so beautiful and peaceful.
  • There is such beauty here!
  • Crater Lake
  • I shall make it a national park.
  • I know, I hope it is safe and out of harms way.
  • Sully Hills
  • From 1901 to 1909 Theodore Roosevelt established five national parks.
  • Wind Cave
  • Theodore established a national park called Crater Lake. Crater Lake used to be a volcano now it is what we call a "sleeping volcano".
  • Mesa Verde
  • Sully Hills was also one of the five parks Roosevelt established. Sully Hills is located in North Dakota.
  • Chickasaw
  • The Wind Cave is located in South Dakota . The wind cave was established in 1904.
  • Whoa, this looks mythical!
  • Mesa Verde is located in Colorado. It was established in 1906 also by Theodore Roosevelt.
  • Chickasaw national park used to be called Platte. Chickasaw is the fifth national park established by Theodore Roosevelt.
