Stock market crash, bank failures, reduction of purchasing across the board, American economic policy with Europe, and drought conditions. I think the most important one was Stock market crash . It was the most important one because it happened first and then everything else just started following behind it to made it worse.
President Roosevelt's new deal
A term that indicates the virtuous ideal where an individual is totally self-reliant and independent from outside assistance. Hoover feared that federal relief programs would undermine the individual character and hard-working ethic and make people depend on the government.
President Roosevelt's second bill of right's
Hoovervilles were people that got evicted from there homes and didn't have jobs or anything to eat and drink and they lived in tin can, cardboard, and wood . That's how they made their homes. Life in a hooverville was boring and scary. They worked all day and barely got any sleep.
Do you feel the New Deal was a success or a failure?
It was a series of programs and it was a recovery for the great depression. This also helped people gets theor jobs back and actaully live in houses now and not have to starve.
It is a new basis of security and prosperity can be established for all regardless of station , race, or creed. I agree with it, bevause everyone needs to be protected and have security no matter what you are.
Overall I think the New Deal was a success. It helped people get their jobs back. And it got a lot of the people out of the depression. Also people got to live in actually homes and got to eat and drink.
