A boy named Victor likes a girl named Teresa. On the first day of school he tries to impress her.
Trying to impress
Don't try to impress someone just be yourself and they should like you for who you are.
"besides, Teresa, a girl he had liked since they were in catechism class at Saint, Theresa was taking French too. With any luck they would be in the same class. Theresa is going to be my girl this year".
"Victor raised his hand wanting to impress Teresa The teacher beamed and said "tres bien parlez" The room grow silent
Teresa who stood in front of him " didn't know you knew french that was good Ms. Bulgar look at Victor
The setting represents love. For Victor it causes him to want to impress Teresa it causes her to ask her to ask him for help in french. when he doesn't know french he just acts like he does.
In seventh grade I think Victor represent the theme because the story and the theme revels around him.
The character helped reveal the theme because it shows how Victor was trying to impress Teresa.
The conflict help revel the theme because it show what what was going on in the text and the falling point that supported the theme
