  • Euphemism: Put you to sleep (euthanize)  
  • So, Harvey,  I'm having some trouble deciding whether or not to put you to sleep!
  • what's wrong hooman?

  • I can't keep you suffering, but what else can I do?

  • Sarah got back form the vet and had some bad news for her 5 year old dog, Harvey. HArvey immediately noticed something was wrong.
