Odysseus and his men face off against a cyclops who traps them in his cave. This is an example of man vs. supernatural because the cyclops is a supernatural creature.
Odysseus, throughout the story, struggles with his men because of their disobedient actions. They go against him and often get themselves and even the whole crew in danger.
Odysseus's arrogance lead him and the crew into challenging situations. The whole reason they're stuck on this adventure is because Odysseus was arrogant. He proves his arrogance again by yelling at the cyclops even as they're about to escape, which almost kills them once the cyclops grows angry.
