Siddhartha Gautama was born the year 563 B.C. in Nepal. Sid can either become the king, or he can become a religious leader.
Sid grew up very wealthy. Every time he went outside the kings men would shew away the poor people so he wouldn't want to help.
One day Sid, when Sid was 29, he went out alone. The first thing he saw was a man leaning on a stick. Then he saw a man that was dying of a disease.
The 3rd thing he saw was a man who had died and his family was gathered around him. Another day Sid came out alone, and that's when he came across the 4th sight, a wandering holy man.
So Sid went to go search for the truth about life, suffering, and death. He would sleep under a tree or in a cave. Then, the gurus thought him about the endless cycle of birth, rebirth and death.
One day Sid decided he would meditate under a tree until answers came to him. for 49 days he meditate under a tree waiting for answers. He saw his past life's, the god Mara came and offered him wealth and power so he would stop. Sid wouldn't stop. So he found answers and went home and taught his people about Buddhism.
