The story of Boudicca's Revolt
Boudica's Husband dies and the Romans steal his family's inheritance.
They ransack his home and pillage the village. Centurions take all his property and land, flog Boudicca and rape her daughters.
Boudicca assembled the Iceni and Trinovantes and they burn their way through Camulodunum and Londinium, rebelling against the Roman rule.
The Romans and Iceni went to battle against each other. The and Trinovantes and Iceni were trapped and could not escape as they were in a field surrounded by trees.
Boudicca either: saw that her army was being destroyed and poisoned herself to stop herself from becoming a prisoner, or, was poisoned and 'died of sickness or 'laziness'' according to the Romans.
Colchester was burned down and evidence is found today when the earth has been dug far enough.
