Oedipus accuses Creon of Laius' murder and wants him banished, and they get into an argument.

Jocasta tells Oedipus not to rely on the prophecy and that itś not true.
Do not concern yourself about this matter, listen to me and learn that human beings have no part in the craft of prophecy.
Jocasta said they pierced her baby's (Oedipus) ankles and left him on a mountain to die so the prophecy wouldnt be fulfilled.
Oedipus recalls a drunk man at a dinner party calling him a bastard.
Oedipus then recalls meeting King Laius and his herald at a crossroads. He got angry and killed the herald who pushed him and told him to move out of the king's way. That made King Laius strike Oedipus on the head with his 2 point goad.
Oedipus kills all but the servant who lived to tell the story. The servant had wanted to get far far away.
