  • Hoot, by Hiaasen is about a boy named Roy who is curious about a boy who is running and Roy wants to know why he runs with no shoes and no bookbag. But Roy get closer than he thought.  
  • Climax
  •  Roy, Beatrice, and Mullet fingers become friends and have to save the owls. The owls are found and a construction site. Unfortunately the constrcution site has to to be used to build something. But the three of them come up with a plan to stop it.
  • Falling action
  • Mullet fingers was bit by a dog and had to go to the hospital and Roy used his name for Mullet fIngers.But afterwards mullet fingers escaped and vanished.
  • Resolution
  • Kimberly Lou Dixon has to dress like Mother Paula and she complains of crickets in the portable potty.
  • Everybody is listening to Roy about seeing the owls. They show a picture and nobody believes him. When  they see the picture they see only 
  • Everybody is cheering and holding hands. Now mullet fingers is happy and everybody wants to save the owls.
