  • It was then Persephone was kidnapped by Hades

  • "PERSEPHONE!"
  • "PERSEPHONE!"
  • Demeter was frantic when Persephone didn't come home and went looking for her.
  • Some birds told Demeter that Persephone was kidnapped and described who had taken her. Demeter by then knew who had stole her daughter.
  • "Oh no, he took Persephone."
  • "Zeus, I want justice. Our brother Hades has stolen our daughter."
  • Demeter plead once more for her daughter's return but Zeus refused. Demeter told Zeus she would not return until he called for her.
  • "Peace good sister for this is the right decision for Persephone to be with Hades."
  • Zeus's sleep was disturbed one night by lamentation and when he looked down at the earth he saw that nothing had grew. He realized that this was a result of the absence of Persephone and sent for Demeter.
