  • GeographyMainland Greece is an mountainous land almost completely surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. Greece has 1400+ islands. The country has mild winters and long, hot and dry summers.
  • ReligionReligion in Greece is dominated by the Greek Orthodox Church, it is within the larger communion of the Eastern Orthodox Church. It represented 90% of the total population in 2015 and is constitutionally recognized as the "prevailing religion" of Greece.
  • Arts & Architecture Greek Art and Architecture refers to the artworks, archaeological objects, and architectural constructions produced into Greek-speaking world from the ninth century to the first century BCE and ending with the emergence of the Roman Empire.
