Your son will be a great king, or a religous leader.
Yes he is
Isn't he so cute Siddhartha
Siddhartha Gautama, a Hindu prince of Nepal was born in 563 B.C. Siddhartha's father once meet a fortune teller who predicts that Siddhartha will be a king or religious leader. Of course, his father wants Siddhartha to be king.
Since his father wanted him to be king guards made sure that there were no beggars or sick people on the streets while Siddhartha was out on his chariot. Siddhartha grew up in a life of luxury without experiencing pain or sadness. Siddhartha married and had a son, and everything else a person could want.
One day Siddhartha went out on a chariot ride without his guards. While he was on his chariot he saw a dead man with the family crying around him. Siddhartha had never seen such sadness in his life before.
Siddhartha left the palace one night and searched for the truth about life. Siddhartha soon started eating one grain of rice, and one jujube fruit. Siddhartha soon became weak and fainted.
Siddhartha returned to strength. Once he had done so he sat under a fig tree and meditated for 49 days. The god Mara tried to make Siddhartha move, when it all failed Mara attacked Siddhartha.
Siddhartha's goal in life was to find the truth about life. He also wanted to awaken the world. Doing this he reached Enlightenment.
