  • The Battle of Brooklyn
  • We can not allow them to take New York!
  • We shall capture this Hessian Base, even if it is Christmas!
  • The Battle of Trenton
  • The Battle of Princeton
  • We must avenge the Hessians and annihilate Washington! But where could he possibly have gone?
  • The British attempted to capture New York in order to cut off New England from the other Patriot colonies and gain massive leverage in the war.
  • The Battle of Saratoga
  • Where are my reinforcements?!
  • On a cold Christmas eve, nothing was stirring, not even a mouse. Except for the Patriot army. They planned to capture a Hessian base, which would be off guard since it was Christmas.
  • Winter at Valley Forge
  • In an attempt to avenge the Hessian Base, the British pursued Washington's army, but could not find him and were split up. One portion found him and were defeated due to lack of numbers. New Jersey became fully Patriotic.
  • The Battle of Yorktown
  • After defeating the Patriots, the British continued in their campaign south from New York, until the Patriots caught up. John Burgoyne was all alone. Two other armies were supposed to be with him, but they never showed up, and his army was overpowered by the Patriots. This victory convinced France that America was a worthy ally.
  • The Patriots were forced to brave a harsh and brutal winter in order to watch over Philadelphia. Disease was rampant and food was short.
  • I think I'm going to be sick...
  • It's so cold....
  • Washington trapped the British in their base for one last final attempt at victory. The Patriots won, and the British surrendered the war. America had achieved independence.
