  • The Southern Campaign
  • Fire!
  • This is the most important part of the war since it is the turning point for the Americans.  The first battle was won by the British but the second battle was won by the Patriots.  Also, this is when the French joined the war.
  • Siege of Yorktown
  • Washington's troops are stationed at Valley Forge and are supported and trained.  Most faced bad weather and disease.
  • This Battle has 2 parts, the battle of Cowpens and the battle of the Guilford Courthouse.  The Americans won the first battle but the British won the second.  This is because of home field advantage and strategies
  • In this battle, both the French and the Americans fought together to beat the British and they succeeded.  This was a very important battle because it was the last battle that determined is America going to be independent or not.
