I believe that siding with the Americans would be the best
No, siding with the British would help us get our land back
Africans in the War
It is not fair that we African Americans fight in the army and are not allowed the same rights as white soldiers!
Foreign Born Heroes of the Revolution
Listen up men, today we will learn how to aim properly!
Native Americans sided with both the British and Americans based on which side offered what they wanted. The tribes often sided with the British because they promised the land the Americans took back. Tribes sided with Americans usually because they had been involved with them for a long time.
General Washington, Benjamin Tallmadge has sent you a secret message in this case.
African Americans played a crucial role in the Revolution, they fought in some major battles and won important victories. African Americans however where given the same rights as white soldiers. Generals feared that by giving these soldiers the same rights as their white soldiers they would turn on them or run away.
Why surely the British are no match for us we have great weapons!
Foreign born heroes helped in three different categories during the Revolutionary war, Financially, Combating, and Training. Baron von Steuben was one of these famous heroes. Steuben helped train troops during the winter at Valley Forge and also was inspector general of the Continental Army.
Intelligence gathering was extremely important during the war because it helped the Americans and British to get information safely without it getting into enemy hands. Benjamin Tallmadge delivered important information about the activity of the British army to General Washington. Some of this information was important enough to help Americans win some of the battles.
Good, hopefully there is information on British activity!
During the war many basic weapons could be found on the battle field such as muskets and cannons. These weapons proved to be highly effective and brought great damage to both sides.
