- Sure I can tell you all the stuff I learned about Atlantis while we go down.
- Oh I don't believe all the nonsense about a ancient superior race and city.
- Wanna come on board with me?
- It is probably because Plato one of the most famous philosophers started the myth so it became popular.
- I read that the original mystery is from over 2000 years ago and originated in Greece.
- Wow that's really old, why do people still believe it and talk about it. Why hasn't it been forgotten about
- That's pretty coolso what exactly is the myth about. Like other than an island sinking.
- Oh ok that's interesting.
- The full story is that the Atlantian race was half god and half human. They also had the strongest naval force in the world and were very advanced. But one day the islands just sunk
- Well Plato is called the creator of this mythical place and society but others say he read the myth in a book. But as for why no one knows.
- So, who created the myth and why.
- Most people say that because no remains or proof of it ever existing at all have been found.But to argue that point people say that over 80% of the oceans haven't been explored.
- Those are both valid reasons that seem like they could lead to a good debate.
- What are somethings people say to try and disprove the myth?
- See I knew I could convince I had solid evidence to support my claim that it does exist
