The walrus and the carpenter are walking on the beach during the middle of the night
The Walrus and the Carpenter convince the oysters to walk with them on the beach, they walk about a mile , they rest on a rock "conveniently low" , the walrus tell them that they can begin the feed and they they freak out.
why don`t you retire from the oyster bed and walk with us on the beach
The oyster realize they are going to be eaten!
NO, NOT US!
The oysters don`t wish to be eaten and say so "after such kindness it would be a dismal thing to do"
WE DON`T WANNA BE EATEN!
The walrus eats the oysters by himself.
The walrus feels remorse that he has eaten them and weeps at their untimely demises.
