As a young child, I remember running through the hills of the East Lothian Countryside in Scotland. It was where I found my love for mother nature, and all she had to offer.
We came to America when I was younger, and moved to Wisconsin. I grew up on a farm, and later enrolled in University of Wisconsin, where I really started to gain a real knowledge of nature. But I left after 3 years to travel.
After leaving Wisconsin, I traveled the world. I went to Canada, Europe, South America, and even Asia. I learned even more about nature by immersing myself in new environments.
But when I went to California, I knew this would be home. I found the Yosemite Valley and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the most beautiful places in the world. I started to become more passionate about protecting these beautiful places.
I got a job herding sheep from the Yosemite Valley to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I started to study the plants, and found that the herding of animals was destroying the ecosystems.
