  • April, 1775
  • We must find the weapon stockpile in Concord to stop a revolution before it happens.
  • The British marched to Concord to seize the weapons, but had to go through Lexington first
  • Don't fire unless fired upon!
  • The British were met with a handful of local militiamen
  • But someone, it is not known who, fired. This was known as the shot heard around the world. The British fired and the militia was forced to retreat
  • When the British got to Concord, the weapons had already been hidden. The frustrated British set fire to some buildings
  • The British would retreat all the way to Boston. This would be the start of the 7 year long struggle of the Revolutionary War
  • This caused Patriots to charge, causing the British to retreat, the Patriots would be joined by nearly 2,000 others from neighboring towns to chase the British
