Storyboard Text

  • Reuniting with Telemachus
  • "No other Odysseus will ever come, for he and I are one, the same."
  • "You cannot be my father Odysseus!"
  • The Plan
  • "At that point round up all the armor, lances, gear of war left in our hall."
  • I will not speak a word of this to anyone.
  • Argus
  • "He would have been a fine dog, from the look of him."
  • Odysseus has a cover of being an old beggar and reveals himself to Telemachus.
  • The Suitors
  • "Now! You think you'll shuffle off and get away after that impudence?"
  • Odysseus and Telemachus are making a plan to kill all of the men who have taken over Ithaca.
  • The Challenge
  • Outside of the palace, Odysseus spots his old dog lying at rest. Argus knows that it is Odysseus by his voice, but has no energy to get up.
  • Penelope's Test
  • It really is you, Odysseus.
  • Odysseus enters his home, but Antinous Confronts him and throws a stool at him.
  • The suitors and Odysseus have a 'fight' to see who will marry Penelope. They have to string Odysseus' bow and shoot an arrow through twelve axhandle sockets.
  • Penelope questions Odysseus (the old beggar) to see if it really is him. She asks about their bed that no one has ever laid eyes on except for them and that's how she knows its really Odysseus.
  • When I made our bed, I made it out of a tree stump. Our bed cannot be moved.
