Storyboard Text

  • I'm Paroah and I'm the Egyptian king. I think all Jewish baby boys should be killed because I think t he Jews are getting too numerous.
  • Ahhh! A baby! I'm going to raise you in the palace. I'll call you Moshe, since I drew you out from the water,
  • And now I run!
  • Paroah believes that all Jewish baby boys should be killed because he thought the Jews were getting too numerous and could one day overthrow the Egyptians. He enslaves all Jews except Levi'im
  • You have to go back to Egypt and ask Paroah to let the Jews leave Egypt.
  • Batya discovers a baby, who's mother left him in the river to keep him safe, and decides to raise him in the palace. She calls him Moshe, since it means 'I drew out' and she drew him out of the Nile.
  • Moshe grows up and sees an Egyptian treating a Jew badly and decides to kill the Egyptian he runs to Goshen in order to not be caught. He meets Yitro, his father-in-law and Tziporah, his future wife.
