In this scene Chris is getting kicked out of his motel for not keeping up the rent. This scene made me feel very sad because I can imagine being both of them and not knowing where to sleep for the night. I can imagine myself as little Christopher not knowing what's going on and being sad. Being Chris not knowing what to tell your child is also very sad cause you always want what's best for you child.
This scene is directly after getting kicked out of his motel and he has to sleep in a public bathroom. By far this is the saddest scene from the movie and it just screams empathy. Imagine being at the lowest of the low with your child and not knowing for how long. It's a very powerful scene that can reach out to people because it's at the point where he's at his lowest.
Chris finally catches his big break and gets the job he was an intern for. It's also a very powerful scene because you can't help but be happy for him. He has gone through so much worse but makes it through everything. I can imagine finally being happy for the first time in a while. I had to include this scene because it made me really happy for Chris because he deserves all the good things.
