  • Lets start with elements. The definition of a element is a pure substances that is composed of a single type of atom.
  • Cool and an example of element is Oxygen.
  • Next the definition of compound is a pure substance composed of two or more different elements that are chemically bonded
  • Ok.. so an example of a compound is H2oor water.
  • An example of a molecule that is an element is N2 and an example of a compound that is a molecule is NH3
  • Molecules definition is is a group of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds.
