  • OH NO! This is what life really is with unpleasent things!?
  • There was a prince named Siddartha Guatama and his dad was a king ruling Nepal. A fortune teller predicted that Siddartha would be a king or a religious leader. His dad tried to show the prince how to be a king.
  • We must all keep true to our lives and use self denial no matter what to find the truth!!!
  • "Aum" I will keep meditating and use self denial for right now!
  • You do not want this? I am Mara! You can take these desirable things! Come on....
  • Siddartha had wealth and never experienced or saw unpleasant things. The prince had not ever seen the sadnnes, poor peaople or sicknesses in life. Guards would protect him in a chariot and whenever unpleasent things came. He then married a women and celebrated.
  • No I will not have these things! Aum… I meditate more as he says these things to me! My past lives... now I reach enlightment!
  • When Siddartha was 29 he traveled with no guards with only a charriot driver. He then saw elderlies, people with disease, death with sadness, and a holy, poor man. He said that this finally brought sadness to him for the first time.
  • Now I will travel around India to teach what I have learned from my path to Enlightment!
  • We want to follow your ways!!!
  • Siddartha found ascetics in the woods as his next step and would use self denial for denying any physical comforts. He meditated in one position and learned how to live each day with one grain of rice and a jujube fruit. After 5 years of self denial, while he would feel his stomach but would feel his backbone, he learned  it eas not the way to find truth .
  • Sissartha sat under a fig tree to meditate and stayed meditating for 49 days. Mara, the god of desire and death, came and tried to bribe him with desirable things, but he wouldn't stop  meditating. He meditated deeper into past lives with showed him suffering and desire called Enlightment which turned him into Budah.
  • Buddha had freed himself from the cycle of rebirth and suffering. He wanted to teach people his learning b traveling around India for 45 years. People asked questions of what he was, but Buddha would of said that he awake. He wanted to awaken the world and followers came with him for this belief of ending the cycle of suffering and rebirth, although he died at 80.
