The Most Dangerous Game takes place on an Island in the 1920s. A man named Rainsford fell off his yacht and found himself swimming towards an Island. On the Island, he came across a mansion and the owner, General Zaroff.
Upon meeting, Rainsford finds out General Zaroff is also a hunter, but he hunts people. Rainsford then realized he was about to be hunted. The main conflict here is man vs man, with the irony of a hunter being hunted.
Three hours of a head start, Rainsford had. He tried to tricked General Zaroff, never quite succeeding but killing his best hound and Ivan in the process. Finally, escaping general Zaroff's wath, only to be back again.
When General Zaroff goes back to his house, feeling defeated, he goes up to his room only to find Rainsford there. They have a battle to figure out who sleeps in the bed.
Rainsford decides he has never slept in a better bed before.
