  • THE TELL-TALE HEART
  • By Edgar Allan Poe
  • He loved the old man, but had hatred for the vulture eye that the old man had which always gazed at him.
  • That eye is going to fancy me mad
  • He hated the eye so much, that it made him go crazy. So, he decided to kill the old man the next time it was open in his sleep. He crept into the old man's room for seven nights.
  • WHO'S THERE!!!
  • On the eighth night, the old man's vulture eye was open. So, he killed him.
  • The shriek was my own from a bad dream
  • The cops were called because of the old man's yell. He will show them the whole house.
  • The old man is not here.
  • He led them to the room where he buried the old man beneath the floor. Then, he started hearing things. It was the old man's heart.
  • *sigh*  I convinced them...
  • *Ringing*
  • Villains! I admit the deed! Tear up the planks here, here! It is the beating of his hideous heart!
