Storyboard Text

  • Yeah, I know. I'm James. Do you smoke?
  • Wow, there are a lot of kids smoking and drinking...
  • No, do you?
  • Smoking kills. Do you want to try these opioids instead? They will help calm your nerves.
  • No, trust me. They will help you have fun.
  • I have to decide to accept or refuse the drugs.
  • Uh...
  • My options are to accept the pills, refuse and go to the kids over there who aren't drinking, or refuse and leave the woods.
  • If I accept the drugs, James might think I'm cool. But, I could also be caught using these pills and be grounded.
  • If I refuse the drugs and leave the woods, I would be out of danger, but I might miss an opportunity to make new friends.
  • If I refuse the drugs and go to the other kids, James might be mad, but I could make new friends.
  • But, I also believe drugs are not safe and have no interest in doing them.
  • Being surrounded by kids who are drinking and smoking could influence my decision.
  • I also know that opioids cause nausea, a euphoria (a high), and can lead to addiction. No thanks!
  • All good, Can I ask why?
  • I'm not comfortable trying drugs. I could get kicked off my sports teams. Plus, drugs are dangerous and I don't want to get addicted. I'm going to go hang out with the sober kids, nice meeting you.
  • I'm going to pass. Thanks though.
