The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street Theme: Fear and suspicion are destructive Forces
It started on its own I swear I dont know whats happening
Goodman! just tell me where the
rest of you monsters are!
Charlie you shot Pete Van Horn He could've had information on this stupid stiuation were in
Your the monster the lights in your house were flickering!
I think the Theme of Monsters are Due on Maple Street is suspicion can lead to trouble. For example when Goodman's car started Charlie was suspicious of him even though he wasn't near his car. Another Example is that when everyone sees a shadowy figure in the distance Charlie was quick to shoot it and later on found out it was Pete Van Horn who could've had information on the event that was happening. If Charlie had stop being suspicious of the shadowy figure Pete could've told them information. The last example I have is that when lights started flickering on everybody's house people were accusing one another and being suspicious that each person's house that lights flickered were the monsters
When Goodman's car suddenly starts without him in the car Charlie accuses him of being the monster because of his car but didn't think about how did it start without him in it
Charlie shoots Pete Van Horn because he thought he was a monster and didn't want to think it through and wait to see who it was
When lights start to flicker on houses and street lights people accuse one another of being the monster without trying to calm down and slove it.
