  • Do you think the kids are going to be late Gorge. I want to show you the nursrey if they are.
  • I think so.... But why do I need to see the Nursery
  • Rising Action
  • "Lock" --->
  • Nursery
  • Phew no more of that
  • Climax
  • AAAAHHHH
  • This is the exposition because it introduces the characters and the setting. Introduces the house,Nursey, Lydia, George,Peter,Wendy,David.   Page Numbers 1-3
  • Falling action
  • "So you agree that we should shut down the house and move."
  • This is the Rising Action because it is developing the turning point of the story. The reason why Lydia, and George wants to shut down the Nursery and house.
  • Resolution 
  • Nursery
  • Wendy- "Ha Ha" Peter- " We fianlly got rid of our Parents."
  • This is the climax because this is the turning point of the story.The reason why is George and Lydia are getting worried because Peter and Wendy were sneaking into the Nursery.
  • Theme
  • This is the falling action because it is finishing up the climax and George contacted David McLean to help them if they should close down the nursery but kids Peter and Wendy are arguing and fighting back at the parents George and Lydia. 
  • This is the resolution because this is ending and George decided to shut down the Nursery and house but in the end Peter and Wendy had tricked and lock there parents Lydia and George in the Nursery so the house will not be shut down.

  • The theme of the story "The Veldt" is Too much curiosity can be dangerous because in the story the parents curiosity on the nursery and the house for shutting it down but in the end there curiosity had gotten the best of them because they were trapped in the nursery by the kids  Peter and Wendy because they did not want the house to be shut down.
