Della sat at the window and continued to cry. She had saved her money for months however, everything was more expensive then expected. I need to get Jim a gift worthy. I can sell my hair, but will Jim still love me?

" I sold my hair to buy you a chain for a watch and my hair will grow back Jim," said Della.
Jim asked "What did you do honey?''
"Here let me see your watch I wanna see how it looks with the chain" said Della.
"I sold the watch to buy the jeweled combs you liked for your hair" exclaimed Jim.
"Come now lets put our gifts away and eat some supper" said Jim.
Della said to Jim "Good idea Lets eat I made chicken and salad."
