Everyday is different, but I will run through what today looks like.
At 7:30 I check/write emails andprioritise the key tasks that I need to complete. I often try and do these uninterrupted out of the office, at the coffee shop across the road.
8am: Into the office. Always make time to say hello to everyone etc.
8.30am - 9.30am: Need to load pricing promotions that werenegotiated yesterday with the Countdown team. Important that pricing is loaded correctly and communicated with the field team and finance team. 9.30am: Lewis Road Leadership Team meeting. In our sales strategy meeting with Countdown last week they want Lewis Road to lead the following projects - Develop a chilled desserts product range, can we drive more money in milk with innovation in white milk, can Lewis Road develop a smoothie brand, are the flavoured milk pack sizes the right offer for the customer.
11am: Meeting with my National Field Manager that looks after the sales team. She is pitching that we need an additional team member. I have already prepped for this meeting and know that to make sure we have a return on that investment we need to grow to business an additional 8%, so I will be asking for her to show we can deliver those results through her business plan12pm: Lunch
1pm - 3pm: Emails and presentation preparation3pm: Out at Foodstuffs North Island head office to present a new frozen desserts range 4.30pm: Home, we have flexible working and I want to beat the traffic home.
