Storyboard Text

  • Declaration of Independence
  • I can't believe they approved it
  • Me to I love it
  • Principle 1 : all men are created equal.
  • YES. WE ARE ALL EQUAL NOW
  • ARE WE ALL EQUAL NOW
  • Principle 2 : All people have basic rights that cannot be taken away
  • THANK YOU
  • Nobody can take away our rights
  • The Declaration of Independence was approved July 4, 1776 by King George III and it stands in the Independence Hall.
  • Principle 3 : The government gets its power to make decisions and protect rights from the people.
  • I'm so happy the government is protecting our rights.
  • This is important because if all men and woman are not created equal we would still be in slavery and we would have no freedom.
  • Principle 4 : When the government does not protect the rights of the people, the people have the right to alter or abolish the government.
  • I WILL NEVER TAKE AWAY YOUR RIGHTS!! DO YOU THINK I WANT TO GET ABOLISHED?
  • This is important because if we don't have no rights we can't stand up for what we believe in and the president has to rule us.
  • Today Principle 2 is best upheld
  • This is important because if the government does not protect our rights they would be taken away and since we voted for them we have to listen to there decisions.
  • This is important because if the government does not protect our rights we can abolish them because we need those rights.
  • I choose Principle 2 because if we don't have rights the government would be ruling us and we would have no say.
