  • 1828 Congress passes new tariffs in an attempt to protect the American economy...
  • Now that we have all voted, it is official, we will use tariffs in order to protect our economy!
  • The tax is great for manufacturers in the North...
  • This new tax is great, we have add a great revenue because of it !
  • ...but, bad for farmers in the South.
  • This new tax is lowering my income, I hate it!
  • John Calhoun, Vice President, is outraged, and calls the tax unconstitutional. He threatens to NULLIFY, or cancel, the tax.
  • This new Tax is unconstitutional. I will nullify and make this country right! I will fight again Andrew Jackson!
