- The African diamond buisness makes 81.4 billion dollars a year
- More than 15,000 people die in diamond mines each year
- People who mine the diamonds do it cause they cant afford school or food and governments use the money to support their military
- I FOUND A DIAMOND !!!!!!!
- In one day 10 people could find 2 to 3 slivers of diamonds in they are lucky
- These people are just trying to put food on the table but this work can be very unforgiving
- When the diamonds are mined they are sold to a buyer who will sell his purchase to other buyers which leads to a diamond merchant going to the store where the diamonds are and purchasing them
- Finally some Diamonds
- DIAMONDS!
- Packets of Diamonds are said to change hands about 8 to 10 times before they even leave the country
- These diamonds are headed for Kinshasawhich is the only place they can be certified for export
- The blood diamonds are then shipped off to a place to be illegally sold.
- The profits made off these diamonds are then used for the benefits of the Government and Military.
- This ends the unfair cycle of the blood diamonds which has been going on for decades.
