  • The fashion during this time consisted of flapper girls. They wore dressed an inch below the knee and pearls and they had fringe. They may even have carried a flask of gin.

  • Prohibition made the purchase and consumption of alcohol illegal. Alcohol could still be obtained for a price and it made little difference to the rich people.

  • illegal liquor traffic is what led to the wealth of gangsters. They controlled speakeasies and bootlegging. 
  • Lifestyle
  • During this time period Jazz music became extremely popular. Dance styles also became popular throughout the nation.
  • He was a primary spokesman of the jazz era and one of America's greatest writers. He died of a heart attack at the age of 44. 
  • The Jazz age was a time where people had parties thrown by rich people. Women also started wearing more jewelry and dresses above the knee.
