  • It's a good day here at the Haines State Forest in Haines, Alaska isn't it Pickle?
  • Finally time to eat:)
  • Sure is Willow!
  • This tree will do.
  • Huh?
  • Oh no..
  • I'm out
  • AHH
  • Hi friends. This is the unfortunate story of Willow the tree alongside his best friend Pickle. Willow does not know that there are currently men trying to find the perfect tree for pencils.
  • Thanks for the wood. Here's your money!
  • No problem!
  • Good news is that Willow was chosen as the best tree (obviously)! Bad news is that he is the tree that the humans are going to cut down. However, Willow still doesn't know what's coming for him..
  • Ugh this is so tiring!
  • That's okay. Just saw the last of the wood while I package these.
  • Sorry that you have to see this. Willow is now getting cut down. Sadly, Pickle has to see his friend go and can't do anything about it. This is the Primary level of economic activity.
  • Sure why not?
  • MUM!! Can I pretty please have these pencils:(
  • This is so sad, we weren't really able to spend much time with Willow:( At this moment, the men brought Willow's remains to the pencil factory to use his wood.
  • Willow's wood is sawed and made into pencils. These workers here are currently about to package the pencils to send it off to stores. We are now at the secondary level of economic activity. I wonder how Pickle is doing..
  • The package of pencils arrived here. The little girl is currently holding Willow's body. This is the tertiary level of economic activity. Pickle says that Willow was an amazing friend and will forever be missed. RIP Willow:(
