Historical Fiction Writing Part 2
This storyboard does not have a description.
The fur trade was a two way thing. It required a relationship between the French, Dutch , and Native Americans which was good for everyone.
In this ¨operation" the Native Americans did most of the trapping. So Louis and couple of others went to hunt some animals. They then traded the furs to the French.
The Native Americans would trade the furs for guns, hatchets and other things from the French.
Since the fur trade was going so good they decided that they should all live together so it would be easier.
It turned out that living together wasn't so easy or peaceful. The Native Americans and Dutch fought over land claims and trading rights.
It ended up getting to the point where the native Americans couldn't take it anymore and they killed the Dutch with the guns the French gave them. The End.
